“Water’s constant flow will eventually wear anything down and carry everything away.”

 – Lama Surya Das in Derek Lin, Tao Te Ching

On many days I aspire to water. I am fluid, dynamic, influential, supple, powerful, refreshing and cleansing.

On other days I regress to stone. I am hard, rigid, static, immovable, dusty and rough.

The Grand Canyon was formed by the Colorado River beginning between 5 and 6 million years ago. And it is still forming. Drip by drip.

I am still forming, too. Less stone, more water. Drip by drip.
