If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do differently today?

Are you living and leading in a way that would allow you to comfortably leave it all behind? Are you secure with what they would say about you? More importantly, do you know how they would feel about what your life – your influence – meant to them?

Or, are there relationships to be repaired and a reputation to be restored for you to leave with peace in your heart and mind?

Could you sleep well tonight, confident that you had done your best, all that you could do? Or, would you be restlessly worried, tossing and turning in the clutches of unfinished business?

Most likely, you’re not going to die tomorrow. That’s good news. It means you have at least one more day to go to work on the things you would do differently.

It’s never too late. Until it is.

With appreciation to Fr. Mike Ratajcak and the Gospel of Luke for inspiring this post.
